As I said, I am done with posting about religion, however, if I feel I should share something about Christ, I will share it on my friend's blog, Speak of Christ (see sidebar). I cannot not write something when I feel moved upon to do so. Writing there will, I hope, keep any posts I make more Christlike, more uplifting to the soul, and less b*tching about some organization or other.

 I have decided to take the advice to leave this blog up until the natural course of things removes it (internet goes defunct, blogger/Google disappears or changes their rules about how long blogs can stay up, etc.). Below is the address of where I will be posting from now on.

Sayonara

I have decided to stop posting about religious things. Specifically, the restorationist movement (called by some the "remnant" movement even though the majority of those believers are not descendants of Lehi) and, in general, all things pertaining to religion. I intend to start a different blog about other interests I have. I will make this blog private instead of deleting it. I'll leave this post up for a few days before I change things. It has been an interesting journey. Thanks for sharing the ride with me.

One Heart, One Mind, United in All Things

The real meaning of these words had never sunk in before. Lehi is talking to Laman and Lemuel, and he says:
. . . be determined in one mind and in one heart, united in all things that ye may not come down into captivity, that ye may not be cursed with a sore cursing.
RE 2 Nephi 1, chapter 1, paragraph 3
LDS version 2 Nephi 1 14:21

It appears to me that this verse verifies that in each generation it is God's wish that we avoid captivity and cursing by being of one mind and one heart, united in all things, even if we disagree on some things.
